Determinants of geotourism development in Quang Binh province

Abstract

The study aims to identify the determinants of geotourism development in Quang Binh province, thereby providing recommendations for its development in the province. Exploratory factor analysis combined with linear regression was used to conduct this study. The research results indicate 5 key determinants of geotourism development in Quang Binh province, including: Geotourism resources, local geotourism development policies, tourism promotion, advertising and investment, local community participation and tourists’ needs and payment capabilities. Among these, local geotourism development policies exert the strongest impact. Based on these findings, the author proposes recommendations to develop geotourism in the province.
