INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) APPLICATION ON CONSERVATION AND PROMOTION OF CULTURAL VALUES IN ETHNIC MINORITIES AREAS

Abstract

Culture of Vietnam's ethnic minorities is an important component of the Vietnamese culture, diverse and imbued with national identity. Preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities is one of the goals prioritized by the Vietnamese Communist Party and State, and also a fundamental, long-term and urgent strategic issue in the contemporary period. Currently, the 4th Industrial Revolution’s existence has a profound impact on the socio-economic life of the country, thereby promoting the application of information technology in conservation and promotion of ethnic minorities’ cultural values is an inevitable trend, creating high efficiency and ensuring sustainability.
