RESEARCH SITUATION ON ANCESTRAL WORSHIP OF THE TAY ETHNIC GROUP IN THE NORTHEASTERN REGION OF VIETNAM CURRENTLY

Abstract

Ancestor worship is a cultural and spiritual phenomenon that plays an important role in the cultural life of the Tay ethnic group in the northeastern region of Vietnam today. Here are hidden many cultural values of the family and clan; representing the beliefs of that community. The article aims to clarify the research problems that have been achieved from the perspective of ethnology, culture…; issues that need further study from a philosophical perspective. From there, it contributes to perfect the theoretical and practical basis for building viewpoints, guidlines and policies of the Party and the State's laws on the issues of belief, religion and ethnicity; at the sam time proposing to preserve, preserve and promote the present cultural identity of the Tay ethnic group.
