VALUE OF USING FOLK MOTIFS DECORATIVE LACQUER PRODUCTS

Abstract

Traditional Vietnamese lacquer is closely linked to the development history of the nation, having a major role in folk life generally in various sectors. Especially in traditional folk art, lacquer material with its own characteristics and uniquely artistic expression language has opened up strongly development directions for the modern Vietnamese art, imbrued with the national identity and reflecting the strong expressiveness of the contemporary art language as well. In other words, Vietnamese traditional lacquer has enough qualities and is able to create overall comprehensive values on products. In the modern period, lacquer products are not only convenient, aesthetic but also can meet the people's high requirements.
