This study aims to assess the state of feline ear infection caused by o. cynotis in the cats brought to the veterinary clinic of Thanh Hung, An Giang. Clinical and microscopic testing revealed that 96 cats - representing 31.78% (96/302), of the total - had pathological symptoms, of which 62 (representing 64.58% (62/96) were with o. cynotis ear lice. Varying cat breeds had varying infection rates. Foreign cat breeds had an infection rate of52.57%, compared to that of 75.00% for domestic and hybrid cat breeds (p<0.05). Cats older than a year had an illness rate of69.57%, compared to 2-12 month-old cats, which accountedfor 60.00%. The rate of disease was influenced by breeding practices. Compared to cats kept in confinement (53.06%), cats kept in the wild had a higher infection rate (76.59%). Rates of infection are unaffected by a cats gender or coat length. The prevalence of ear lice is 69.23%, 50.09%, 63.41%, and 65.45%, respectively, in male cats, female cats, short-haired cats, and longhaired cats. The Thanh Hung veterinary clinic s Oridermyl treatment for cat ear lice is quite successful (91.93%).
Nghiên cứu này nhằm đảnh giả tình hình nhiễm bệnh viêm tai ở mèo do Otodectes cynotỉs (O. cynotỉs) gây ra đã được mang đến khảm tại phòng khảm thủ y Thanh Hưng, tỉnh An Giang. Qua kiểm tra lâm sàng và kiểm tra xét nghiệm dưới kính hiển vỉ cho kết quả là 96 con mèo có biểu hiện bệnh lỷ chiếm tỷ lệ 31,78%) (96/302), trong đó có 62 con bệnh viêm tai ở mèo do o. cynotỉs gây ra tỷ lệ 64,58%) (62/96). Tỷ lệ nhiễm bệnh ở các giống mèo có sự khác biệt. Tỷ lệ nhiễm bệnh ở giống mèo nội và lai là 75,00%, giống mèo ngoại là 52,57%) (p<0,05). Mèo từ 2-12 thảng tuổi có tỷ lệ nhiễm bệnh là 60,00%, mèo trên một năm tuổi là 69,57%). Phương thức nuôi có ảnh hưởng đến tỷ lệ bệnh, ở mèo được nuôi thả nhiễm 76,59%) cao hơn so với mèo nuôi nhốt 53,06%. Giới tỉnh và độ dài lông mèo không ảnh hưởng đến tỷ lệ nhiễm bệnh. Tỷ lệ bệnh viêm tai ở mèo đực 69,23%), mèo cái 50,09%, mèo lông ngắn là 63,41%) và mèo lông dài là 65,45%. Điều trị bệnh rận tai mèo bằng Orỉdermyl tại phòng khảm thủ y Thanh Hưng đạt hiệu quả cao (91,93%)
