Abstract

Employing conventional scientific
research methodologies, this study undertakes
an assessment of the prevailing state of Physical
Education (PE) and extracurricular Physical
Education and Sports (PES) provisions for students
enrolled at Can Tho University (CTU). The
evaluation encompasses several key dimensions:
examining the current status of the PE curriculum
and the qualifications of the PE faculty at CTU;
analyzing the existing conditions of facilities,
sports grounds, and equipment dedicated to PE
and PES at CTU; investigating other pertinent
supporting conditions impacting PE and PES
at CTU; and gauging the satisfaction levels of
CTU students regarding their engagement in
extracurricular PES activities. The findings from
this assessment are intended to inform the selection
of strategic interventions aimed at elevating
the quality of extracurricular PES activities
for CTU students, consequently contributing
to the overarching enhancement of PE quality
for the student body at Can Tho University.
