Abstract
This research systematically employed a comprehensive methodological approach,
encompassing literature review, pedagogical observation, structured interviews, pedagogical
assessments, and statistical analysis, to evaluate the prevailing conditions of extracurricular Physical
Education (PE) provisions at Dong Thap University. The assessment specifically focused on: the current
pedagogical framework of the extracurricular PE curriculum; the professional competencies and
deployment of both regular and extracurricular PE instructional staff; the adequacy and accessibility
of physical infrastructure supporting both curricular and extracurricular PE activities; the expressed
student demand for extracurricular academic programs within Dong Thap University; and the baseline
physical fitness levels of first-year students at Dong Thap University. The empirical findings derived from
this evaluation are intended to serve as a foundational premise for the subsequent development of an
extracurricular Karatedo instructional program tailored for the student body of Dong Thap University.
