THE CONNECTION BETWEEN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND ENSURING HUMAN SECURITY IN HO CHI MINH CITY TODAY

Abstract

Holding an important political position in the country, Ho Chi Minh City is assigned responsibility until 2030 and a vision to 2045 by the Party and State: “Ho Chi Minh City is developing on par with major cities in the world, has become the economic, financial, and service center of Asia: is an attractive global destination by economy, unique culture and the high quality of life; is a key area of the Southeast region and the growth pole of the country; is a place that attracts financial institutions and international economic corporations” [1]. To achieve this goal, Ho Chi Minh City needs a system of synchronous solutions in all aspects and fields. The article focuses on analyzing the connection between economic development and ensuring human security - is one of the important solutions to strongly develop culture, society, education and training, and taking care of people's health, improve people's quality of life, build a civilized, modern and compassionate city, a city worthy of the City named after leader Ho Chi Minh worthy in the spirit of Resolution 31-NQ/TW of the Politburo
