SOLUTIONS FOR THE VIETNAM TOURISM INDUSTRY AFTER COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence and forecast the impact based on the scenarios of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism industry in Vietnam. This forecast uses scientific journals, historical records, articles, statistics of the World Health Organization, government data, the National Administration of Tourism. The COVID-19 outbreak has significantly impacted global travel and tourism. Vietnam also has a negative impact on inbound and outbound tourism. The spread of COVD-19 is predicted to have a long-term adverse impact on tourism in Vietnam. This study analyzes the current situation, predicts the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and finds solutions to overcome the tourism industry and prepare for the post-COVID-19 period
