EVALUATION APPLICATION POSSIBILITY OF BREADFRUIT LEAF AS HERBAL TEA RAW MATERIAL

Abstract
The study for processing breadfruit leaves as raw materials and tea products is attracted subject recently. This research has conducted many laboratoty experiments with heat treating and fermentation trial to process breadfruit leaves into black tea material. The study’s results show that the fermentation process gives positive results with the ability to form products with good sensory value, and has prospects for practical application. Final sample products are also analyzed for color different (L*a*b system) to collect a scientific database for further in-depth research
