Abstract

The study was conducted to find out the views on foreign food consumption and the trends on foreign cuisine consumption of diners in Ho Chi Minh City. The research uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The results indicate that there are 3 distinct trends in selecting to consume the current foreign cuisines including: 1) The choice based on the space and setting of the restaurant; 2) The uniqueness of the dish and the beautiful decoration; 3) The quality and the health of the cuisine
