VIETNAM HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION – OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES
Abstract
The article presents and analyzes the basic trends of education 4.0 – a factor formed because of the impact of the fourth industrial revolution on the education. The article also analyzes the characteristics of higher education in the new context. From the above analysis, identify opportunities and challenges for Vietnam's higher education in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The opportunities that Vietnamese higher education can take advantage of including both subjective and objective factors. On the other hand, Vietnamese higher education faces four fundamental challenges: meeting training needs; changing all activities in universities; resources for educational innovation; fierce competition with new training models and the risk of falling behind the world
