PHAN CHAU TRINH’S SOCIAL - POLITICAL THOUGHTS

Abstract

Phan Chau Trinh (1872-1926) was one of Vietnam's typical thinkers, politicians and patriots in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century. In his life and his revolutionary activities, Phan Chau Trinh left many valuable ideas, one of them is the moral thoughts. The contents of his moral thoughts are expressed quite richly and relatively systematically on many aspects, such as: moral concepts, moral roles, content of moral standards,... If we ignore certain limitations in his thoughts, they are still useful lessons in educating morality for Vietnamese human today
