STUDY ON SOME METHODS OF SEED TREATMENT BEFORE STORAGE ON THE QUALITY OF RICE (Oryza sativa L.)

Abstract

The experiment was carried out to find out the most optimal storage method to ensure the quality of rice grains during post-harvest storage. The experiment was arranged in 7 treatments in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 replications, including those using PP and PE bags combined with different seed treatments. The experimental results showed that the use of PP + PE bags at 12.5% moisture and Bordeaux M25Wp + QuickPhos 56% weed killer was the best compared to the other treatments. Further testing of different storage methods and different types of packaging should be carried out in addition to the above humidity levels and storage packaging for further in-depth storage conclusions
