Abstract

One of the basic contents of philosophy which is always mentioned by philosophers regardless of point of view or school is the issue of ontology. Theontology is most commonly understood as the theory of being, of origin, of existence or the ontology is the conception of the origin and nature of the world. The ancient Indian philosophy - a part of human philosophy also deals with ontology, although this is not their primary concern. The article will present the basic contents of the ontology of the ancient Indian philosophy through some typical schools, thereby, clarifying the values and limitations
