Abstract

ABSTRACT
The Covid-19 Pandemic has forced the Government to announce online learning-teaching activities
almost all over the country. It is very challenging for both teachers and students to accomplish these tasks
well in general and for language learners and teachers it is much more difficult in particular because they
need specific environment to interact. In this research, the author aimed to describe the strategies used in
English Speaking online classes during the Covid-19 Pandemic. A qualitative approach was applied to do
the research and the subject was the lecturer of English and students from classes ĐH11NA. Data collected
from observation and documentation showed that a strategy focusing on the teaching-learning process to
achieve learning goals and improve students’ interaction in speaking activities on Internet flatform classes.
