Abstract

ABSTRACT
In mathematics, a conic section is a curve that can be formed by intersecting a cone (more precisely, a
right circular conical surface) with a plane. The article presents the design of a STEM education case study
through the design of a three-conic model showing the above relationship. With situations designed to create
opportunities for students to apply conic knowledge, combined with knowledge of science, technology and
engineering.
