Abstract
This article introduces the application of interactive teaching methods to the subject of numbers and arithmetic with the aim of developing mathematical competence in grade 1 students. It explores the key components of the interactive teaching process, the interplay between these components, and provides guidelines for designing and implementing interactive teaching in various classroom activities within the curriculum on the topic of numbers and arithmetic. This initiative contributes to enhancing the quality of mathematics education for grade 1 students.
