Abstract

The Advanced Mathematics program provides students with basic mathematical tools and applications of these mathematical tools in explaining, analyzing and solving important problems of production and social life, one of which is the field of economics and business. Therefore, training students in the ability to apply Mathematical knowledge into practice is necessary for the development of society, in accordance with the goals of Mathematics education.
In economics, an important issue is that when producing, managers need to solve the problem of minimizing the costs of supplies and raw materials, warehousing, etc., with the goal of maximizing profits. The article introduces how to use methods of mathematical analysis to determine the size of each shipment to minimize total costs, including storage costs.
