Abstract
This article presents the results of a study on the egg production capability and egg quality of Khaki Campbell duck breedfrom 21-35 weeks of age. Khaki Campbell duck breed is capable of high egg production (The highest laying rate reached 99,14% at 32 weeks of age, egg production reached 6,94 eggs/duck/ week. Laying rate greater than 90% maintained for 7 consecutive weeks (from week 29 - week 35), good egg quality (The egg quality indicators were higher: egg shape index from 1,35 – 1,45g; yolk index from 0,44 to 0,49; Albumen index from 0,6 to 0,9; Haugh unit from 84,3 to 85,4; qualified shell thickness from 0,43 to 0,47), very suitable for farmers to rearing in captivitymethod at ThuongTrung Commune, VinhTuong District, Vinh Phuc.
