Using the game method in teaching 7th grade Civic Education - Some theoretical issues

Abstract
The aim of the article is to clarify the theory of game-based teaching methods and the role and significance of using these methods in teaching 7th-grade Civic Education at the secondary school level, with an approach focusing on students’ competencies and qualities. The research was conducted using theoretical research methods. The research results show that: 1- Game-based teaching methods are an effective educational approach designed to stimulate interaction and foster learners’ interest in learning; 2- Utilizing game-based methods in teaching 7th-grade Civic Education is appropriate and brings positive significance to both teachers and students.
