English has become one of the most commonly spoken languages worldwide, and the desire to learn and use English is growing. Nevertheless, many language learners face Foreign Language Anxiety (FLA), which can impede their progress and diminish their overall language learning experience, encompassing emotional and behavioral aspects across different learning contexts. The purpose of this article is to offer a thorough examination of FLA, covering its various aspects such as dimensions, models, influences, and its importance in language teaching. It also seeks to explore FLA comprehensively to understand its implications for teaching languages.
