Abstract
Motivation plays a crucial role in promoting learner engagement which facilitates their learning. This is the reason why educators have drawn a great amount of attention to how to increase learners’ interest in learning. Mind mapping is a teaching technique which can be used for a multitude of purposes and offers numerous benefits in language teaching and learning. The main aim of this paper is to introduce mind maps as an effective and interesting tool in language teaching and learning that enhances learners’ motivation.
