Abstract
Listening comprehension is considered the most difficult skill among the four language skills for non-majors at universities and colleges today. This article discusses the current state of English listening comprehension skills and offers a number of extended listening strategies and diverse methods to increase the effectiveness and quality of English listening for non-English major students at universities. in general, and Nghe An University of Economics in particular.
