Abstract
In this article, we analyze related issues about mathematical problem-solving competence. From there, we designed some typical situations in teaching the Probability Rules chapter to develop mathematical problem-solving competence for 11th-grade students at Ethnic Boarding High School, contributing to the implementation of the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas.
