Foreign language learning strategies of non-English major students

Abstract
This article focuses on researching and analyzing language learning strategies among second language learners, especially non- major English students. Learning strategies are defined as methods and processes that support the learning process, especially when acquiring a new language like English. The article presents various methods for identifying learning strategies, including interviews, questionnaires, journals, and written notes, as well as cognitive monitoring notes. Discussing the importance of understanding learning strategies, the article also delves into conducting research in the classroom and how they can support more effective teaching practices.
