Site analysis in architectural design projects

Abstract

ABSTRACT:
Site analysis is a predesign research activity which focuses on existing and potential conditions on and around the building site, to provide thorough information about the site prior to starting the design process. It is one of the most important and effective ways to find a concept. This paper presents literature review on site analysis, evaluates some site analysis tools and introduces a case study of site analysis for an architectural graduation project.
