Study on treatment of embankment on soft soil with sand compaction pile

Abstract

ABSTRACT:

The embankment on soft soil must ensure stable conditions and settlement within the allowable limit. Currently, there are many solutions to treat soft soil, but for each specific project, choosing the right solution in terms of economic and technical is a problem that the designer needs to answer. This paper presents the results of the study on solutions to treat soft soil with sand compaction pile of actual construction in progress. The field monitoring data is analyzed, evaluated, and used to verify the calculated model, input data, and the reliability of the solution. Research results can be used as references for similar works.
