Abstract

ABSTRACT:

Climate change will cause many adverse impacts on the ecological environment and living environment such as increasing the frequency of storms, floods, cyclones, droughts, epidemics..., and especially the increase urban flooding. Rapid urban development in Rach Gia city has reduced the rate of permeable surface area due to concreting; The reduction of water surface area due to leveling, encroachment or discharge also reduces rainwater storage capacity and increasing the risk of flooding in low-lying, low-lying areas in urban areas. As a coastal city and like other coastal cities of Vietnam, Rach Gia city is experiencing significant impacts of climate change on socioeconomic activities, especially on drainage infrastructure... analyze the impacts of climate change on the drainage infrastructure and then propose appropriate solutions.
