Tool control of urban population density in big cities in Vietnam

Abstract

Since the middle of the 20th century, in the United States, the issue of urban density has been a subject of much research due to the decline in urban density or the decrease in the urban population density. Which is a disadvantage from the perspective of promoting of the agglomeration economy? However, there is no high level of urban population density distribution that is applied across all countries, especially in large cities; the value of population density in each area is different, creating a new urban form of population distribution characteristics based on the planning orientation. Urban density in Vietnam is quite high in terms of built-up area but low overall because the “undevelopment areas” are unurbanized areas.

This article shares some international views, concepts and recommendations of urban population density and urban form as well as the applicability of artificial intelligence AIIPU in population distribution control in the big cities in Vietnam.
