Abstract

Construction of high-rise basements by open excavation construction method combined with anti-holding system depends on many factors such as: depth of excavation, geological characteristics of the project, hydrogeology, technical conditions, construction capacity ... In this study, the authors introduced Plaxis software calculations for the deep excavation problem using a two-layer Laren to enhance the rigidity and stability of the walls in a specific numerical analysis problem. The analysis data in this article is taken from the actual construction project at the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Dong Da, Hanoi.
