Abstract

The place-specific value "place identity" is a combination of many factors including spatial characteristics, natural features, cultural and historical conditions. These are the intrinsic, outstanding, and distinctive features of a place, which are the factors that help us to recognize, feel and distinguish one place from another. Identifying specific values and concretizing these values into urban planning and urban design is one of the important and necessary content to ensure the implementation of planning projects. Bringing planning closer to reality, creating convenience for planning implementation and management, and making the construction area develop in a sustainable way.
