Accurate formula of conditional equation and number of coordinate correction in conditional adjustment

Abstract

Conditional adjustment is one of the two methods used to process geodetic data. Therefore, it is crucial to use a formula that accurately represents the mathematical foundation of this method. However, some references fail to accurately demonstrate this. In this article, I analyzed and provided the precise formula for the condition equation of coordinate correction, as well as utilized this formula to appropriately process an open traverse network. The results demonstrate that the formula provided is entirely reasonable.
