Abstract

Compressive and tensile strength due to split test of high performance concrete (HPC) is the main topic of the article. The test samples were made of HPC strengthened by three different fibers, with the fiber volume fractions varying in a range of 0-2%. Based on the test results, the article comments on the compressive and tensile strength of HPC. Copper-clad steel fiber is the fiber type with the best strength results compared to the others, PP fiber and Dramix 3D fiber.

Keywords: Fiber concrete; steel fiber; tensile behavior; the split tensile test.
