STRESS AND RELATED FACTORS OF PEOPLE INFECTED WITH COVID-19 LIVING IN DINH HOA LOW - INCOME HOUSING, BINH DUONG PROVINCE

Abstract

A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 384 COVID-19 survivors living in Dinh Hoa low-income housing, Binh Duong province to determine stress levels using the PSS-10 scale and other factors related to these stress levels. The results showed that severe, moderate, mild, and no stress levels in COVID-19 survivors were 3.1%, 42.3%, and 54.6%, respectively. In which the female gender has a higher rate of severe stress (3.9%) and moderate stress (45.7%) than the male gender (1.9% and 35.9%) with c2=11.44; p = 0.03. Gender factors, time of COVID-19 infection, marital status, education level, and number of family members are related to stress levels.
