EXISTENTIALIST ETHICS AND IT'S EDUCATIONAL IMPLICATIONS
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to examine the existential ethical views of two prominent philosophers, Friedrich Nietzsche and Jean-Paul Sartre, and affirm that these two philosophers have provided us with an insight on fundamental issues of the human condition such as freedom, responsibility and authenticity. On that basis, we examine the educational implications of these ethical thoughts in order to provide a useful philosophical basis for educators so that they can cultivate humanist values and educate the liberal spirit in the educational environment.
