Abstract

Informational text is one of the key genres in the general education curriculum of Literature (2018). Reading and understanding informational text is very important for high school students. To arouse interest in receiving informational text and build students' self-reading ability, we propose a design and use of infographics in teaching reading comprehension of informational text for grade school students. 11 by simulating the process of reading informational text and modeling infographic design through Canva software, suggesting implementation steps and evaluation methods. Thereby, students practice and apply reading other types of informational texts and summarize information in infographic form. We implement this teaching method to improve the ability to read informational texts, and at the same time create excitement in Literature lessons through the application of information technology in the teaching and learning process. contributing to developing the capacity and qualities of students in the 4.0 era.
