CURRENT STATUS OF ASSESSMENT METHODS AND TOOLS USED BY TEACHERS IN IMPLEMENTING STEM EDUCATION AT HIGH SCHOOLS
Abstract
This study was conducted to collect information on how teachers are completing the assessment of STEM teaching at school by qualitative and quantitative research methods combined with survey methods through online surveys. Research results have shown that at Cai Nuoc High School, Ca Mau, teachers have applied various tools and methods to evaluate teaching effectiveness. However, priority is still given to traditional testing and assessment tools, which mainly focus on assessing students’ abilities. Despite the advent of modern assessment tools, they still face many difficulties and limitations in being widely applied. To get a more detailed look at this situation, we recommend conducting further studies to understand the causes of differences in teachers’ assessment methods and tools.
