Abstract

Teaching self-protection skills for preschool children is an urgent issue. This study was carried out to develop and guide the use of criteria for evaluating self-protection skills education activities for children based on an experiential approach at preschools in mountainous areas, on the basis of applying observations follow the progress of the child's comfort and level of participation in the activity. The article uses a group of theoretical research methods and methods of consulting experts on a set of criteria, indicators and scales in evaluating the results of self-protection skills education activities for children according to the experiential approach at preschool in mountainous areas. Since then, the study has clearly defined criteria, evaluation indicators as well as a scale of 5 levels and proposed ways to use them in accordance with practical conditions. This will be an important toolkit to help preschool teachers achieve the purpose of comprehensively and effectively evaluating the self-protection skills education activities of ethnic minority children in mountainous areas when organized by experiential approach.
