Abstract

The computer-based system of testing and assessing learners' ability plays an important role in the modern educational process. It helps to assess and measure the level and performance of learners and provides important information for the adjustment of the teaching and learning process. The purpose of the study is to propose a computer-based system for testing and assessing learners' ability. A system of testing and assessing learners' ability is built based on MATLAB software for a case study in preschool teacher training. The study identifies the competency requirements and standards of students in the preschool education field and transform them into questions and computer-based assessment exercises. By utilizing this computer-based system for testing and assessing learners' ability, it can provide immediate and specific feedback on the students' competencies, thereby enhancing the training process and ensuring the quality of preschool education. The results of this study can not only improve the quality of the learning and assessment process and create an interactive learning environment, but also provide important information for improving the teaching and learning process.
