Abstract

The topic of Informatics Application within the Informatics curriculum, specifically in the case of 3rd grade pupils, is one amongst the areas where teaching activities can be designed to address practical problems relevant to pupils. This article investigates, proposes and illustrates a method of teaching Informatics Application for 3rd graders which focuses on implementations in practical contexts. The data were obtained through researching, analyzing, theoretical synthesizing and observing the status quo of Informatics education in 3rd grade pupils. From the results, a procedure of teaching Informatics Application to 3rd grade pupils with an emphasis on practical implementation is developed. This procedure allows pupils to reinforce and deepen their knowledge, improve practical skills, and apply informatics in real-life situations more effectively. The findings of this research have been proven to not only be applicable for 3rd grade pupils but can also be replicated in teaching Informatics for those in other grades or studying related topics.
