REALITY AND RESEARCH FOR OPTIMIZING SOLUTIONS TO EMPTY CONTAINER FLOW IN THE NORTHERN REGION OF VIETNAM - CONTAINER ROUNDUSE PORTAL (CR)

Abstract

Containerization in international trade is a trend that brings many benefits to economies such as: saving time, costs and facilitating transportation of goods. Faced with that common situation, the digital revolution that converting from traditional businesses to technology platforms is becoming increasingly popular and is considered as an effective solution to help logistics businesses improve efficiency in order to expand the market and achieve maximum profits that are superior to those before digital transformation. It can be seen that the application of information technology software to the operation of container, in order to optimize the flow of traffic, is an innovative solution to improve the competitiveness of the logistics field in the context of 4.0. This study focuses on proposing technological solutions to overcome the backlog problems related to container flow in the Northern region of Vietnam -  ContainerRounduse Portal (CR).
