The Central Highlands regional linkages - the real situation and emerging issues

Abstract

After 20 years of implementing Resolution No. 10-NQ/TW dated January 08, 2002 and 10 years of implementing Conclusion No. 12-KL/TW dated October 10, 20211 by the Politburo of the Party Central Committee, the Central Highlands has achieved many important achievements in terms of socio-economic and national defense and security. However, the present socio-economic development in the Central Highlands is not commensurate with its inherent potential and advantages, which is mainly due to the limitations in development linkages in the Central Highlands. The article uses qualitative research methods to collect data, analyze, and assess the current situation of linkages in the Central Highlands, thereby proposing solutions to strengthening regional linkages, contributing to successfully implementing Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW dated June 10, 2022 by the Politburo on the direction of socio-economic development and assurance of national defense and security in the Central Highlands until 2030, with a long-term vision to 2045.
