Activities to build an active teaching college in secondary schools in Di An city, Binh Duong province

Abstract

Managing the activities of building a positive pedagogical collective plays an important role in creating a democratic, united and effective educational environment, contributing to improving the quality of education in schools. This study focuses on surveying and evaluating the current status of managing the activities of building a positive pedagogical collective at secondary schools in Di An city, Binh Duong province. The research method uses a questionnaire on a 5-level Likert scale for 130 participants including managers, teachers and staff; data is processed using SPSS software. The survey results show that management work is generally at a good level in all four functions: planning (Average = 3.68), organizing (Average = 3.78), directing (Average = 3.68) and checking and evaluating (Average = 3.73). Schools have made many positive changes in concretizing plans, promoting grassroots democracy and coordinating educational forces. However, propaganda work to raise awareness and coordination with local authorities still has certain limitations. The research results are an important basis for proposing appropriate management measures, contributing to improving the effectiveness of building a positive pedagogical collective in the context of current educational innovation.
