Abstract
Reasoning skills play a crucial role in human development and therefore need to be fostered from early childhood. Among various educational activities in preschool settings, scientific exploration stands out as particularly effective in promoting reasoning skills in young children. This paper presents the results of a study on the current situation of developing reasoning skills for 4–5-year-old children through scientific exploration activities in preschools in Phu Vang District, Thua Thien Hue Province. The findings serve as a practical foundation for stakeholders to design and implement appropriate measures to support the development of reasoning skills in children aged 4–5 through scientific exploration.
