Status of traffic safety education activities in primary schools in Khanh Vinh district, Khanh Hoa province

Abstract

Traffic safety education is an important content that has been implemented for many years in primary schools in Khanh Vinh district, Khanh Hoa province, but this activity still lacks comprehensiveness, is not close to reality, mainly takes place during peak periods and has not created interest for students. The study aims to survey the current situation of organizing traffic safety education activities in primary schools in the area. The practical survey method was used to collect data from 205 students, 55 managers and 95 teachers of 4 primary schools. The results show many limitations in content, methods and forms of organizing activities. On that basis, the article proposes solutions to improve awareness, organizational capacity and effectiveness of traffic safety education in a practical way, suitable for primary school students
