Immune efficacy and persistence of triple - antibody in pig in different using time

Abstract

“Triple – Antibody Cocktail Eco-Sal-Clos” (in brief: triple antibody) was produced successfullyby RTD Company. This product was derived from hyper-immunized chicken egg yolk against E.coli, Salmonella, Clostridium perfringens whole cell antigen.In order to determine the immunity efficacy and safety of triple-antibody, an experimental treatment for diarrheal pigs with different treatment doses was conducted. As a result, with triple-antibody dose of 15-20gr/head/day and triplicate, the recovery rate of the diseased pigs reached 95%. The safety of this product was determined to be 100%. In case of the pigs with serious disease, double treatment dose of triple antibody could be used.The remaining of triple antibody inside the pigs through different times indicated that 15 days after vaccination, antibody titer was still relatively high, the protection level for pig reaching the antibody titer was 4log2 - 5log2.The immune response cycle for the piglets from newborn to 30 days-old was set up, in which, the newborn pigs should be taken 5-7gr of triple antibody/head/day continuing in 5 days, after that stopped using triple antibody in 10 days, then repeated as the same for one more time. This immune response cycle would help the piglets remaining antibody in the blood until weaning.
