DEVELOPING AN ASSESSMENT INDEX SYSTEM FOR THE CREATIVE LEARNING ECOSYSTEM AT THE UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOL LEVEL IN HANOI
Abstract
This study aims to develop an assessment index system for the creative learning ecosystem at the upper secondary school level in Hanoi, contributing to educational innovation oriented toward fostering students’ creative competencies. The research establishes a theoretical framework for the creative learning ecosystem based on foundational theories, including ecological theory, systems theory, connectivism, and creativity theory. Through a survey of the current situation in upper secondary schools across Hanoi, the study identifies limitations in the existing creative learning ecosystem and highlights the urgent need for a standardized assessment tool. The proposed index system comprises five core components and 27 specific indicators. It was piloted in 10 representative schools and refined based on feedback from stakeholders. The validation results indicate that the index system demonstrates high reliability and construct validity (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.85). The study also proposes a five-year implementation plan (2025–2030) and a monitoring and evaluation system. This index system serves as a crucial tool for upper secondary schools to conduct self-assessment and continuous improvement of their creative learning ecosystems, thereby enhancing educational quality and fostering students' creative capacities in the context of educational reform and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
