Abstract

During World War II (1939-1945), the situation in Vietnam and the world became significantly volatile. France joined the war in Vietnam. To facilitate exploitation for its mother country, the French implemented a series of policies to destroy the communist organizations. Against this background, the Indochinese Communist Party quickly changed its revolutionary direction, in which, the methods to fight the enemy in the new situation became a critical task continuously proposed by the Party in the 6th, 7th and 8th Conferences on November 1939, November 1940, and November 1941, respectively. During this period, especially after the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Indochina (May 1941), a series of revolutionary newspapers in Tonkin was born, actively contributing to the propaganda, guidance and promotion of method of fighting against France and Japan. Thanks to that, the Vietnamese revolutionary movement, especially in Tonkin, strongly developed.
