Institutional Model for Developing Cultural Industries in Some Countries and Suggestions for Vietnam

Abstract
The article overviews institutional theories and approaches to cultural industry development, and analyzes four typical models of South Korea, France, the United Kingdom, and China. These cases demonstrate the diversity of institutional design and operation, ranging from state-led models to patronage mechanisms, market- driven systems, and technology-based control. On this basis, the article proposes some policy recommendations to improve Vietnam’s cultural industry institutions towards greater flexibility, integration, and adaptability to the digital context.
